Changing your screen resolution

Please follow these instructions to change your screen resolution to 800 by 600 pixels or greater.

1. Click on the start button, go up to "Settings" and then over to "Control Panel".

2.  Once in the control panel, double click on the "Display" icon. (Indicated by the red arrow)

3. Once in the "Display Properties", click on the "Settings" tab.  In the "Screen Area" box, move the small grey arrow until the text below it reads "800 by 600 pixels" or "1024 by 768 pixels" (The higher the pixel number the smaller everything looks.) If your resolution is already set to one of these, please click the back button on your browser to return to the main menu.

4. Click OK

5.  After you click OK, you will get this prompt (below).  Click OK again.   If the screen does not reappear correctly, wait 15 seconds and your original settings will be restored.

6.  After the screen resolution changes, you will get the following prompt.   If everything looks normal (everything should be a little smaller, but still clear and easy to read), then click on YES to keep these settings.

7.  The resolution change should now be complete.  Please return to the NetFX Home Page.
