| Angela brings to the company the benefit of more than 25 years experience in the adult education arena including work with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and Edith Cowan University (ECU). Prior to founding NetFX with Terry in 1996, Angela managed the highly successful Scarborough Skillshare employment project. Among many other projects she undertook in this role, she worked with Terry to obtain funding for and develop a 6-month specialised Internet skills course for long term unemployed people. | ||

Terry first got excited
about the Internet way back in about 1994. Although it was nowhere
near as friendly and useful as it is today, he could see that it was
destined to change the way we do things; especially in business. By
1995 Terry had been working with disadvantaged jobseekers for two-years
and together with Angela, developed a specialised Internet skills course
for long term unemployed people so they could obtain work in the growing
Internet industry. In 1996 Terry and Angela formed the company NetFX Australia Pty Ltd which today trades as NetFX Internet. They opened a dedicated Internet training centre in the Perth suburb of Leederville and Terry looked after the day to day operation of the centre and conducted the training sessions. Together they developed what are believed to have been the first nationally accredited Internet short courses. After winning their first contract to provide mobile Internet training to the outback they closed the training centre and hit the road. |

Phillipa brings
order out of the chaos created by Angela and
Terry. A member of the family, she has been familiar with their work right from the start. After spending four years overseas working
under many different guises, she finally felt
it was time to get involved and recently
returned to Australian shores and a job as Project Co-ordinator.
